Our Yearly Programs

 

Below is a list of our programs that run for the entire year, each and every year. Under each list is additional information about each program and the benefits of each program.

School Starters (Leap Frogs)

 

This program offers children who are transitioning to school the following year, the opportunity to engage in learning in the primary school setting. The program runs for 2 hours. In this time children have the opportunity to;

​

• practice writing their name

• socialise with other children

• get to know the primary school environment

• visit the library

• visit the infants playground

• engage in educational experiences (e.g. maths and science experiences)

​

This program is recommended to any child who is attending Albion Park Rail Public School the following year. This program will assist children with their

• Cognitive Development

• Social Development

• Physical Development

Playgroup @ Albion Park Rail

 

This playgroup usually begins after our ‘School Starters’ program. This program is recommended to any family that wishes to build their social support group. Our staff offer a lunch with either tea or coffee during this playgroup. This is a fun way to help your children to grow their social skills or to expand your own group of friends. Our rooms offer comfy lounges with friendly staff that are always happy to have a chat with families. We also offer resources for the children to play with whilst you relax and build friendships with others.
